Amit has worked for Citigroup in the UK, Cargill Inc. across Europe, The Godrej Group in India and has been a consultant to Euromoney globally. He is the Founder and Director of EMRG Ltd (Emerging Markets Research Group), a strategy & marketing consultancy specialising in Global Sourcing. EMRG organizes conferences, produces journals and provides marketing support and advice to corporations and governments on offshoring.
EMRG’s events have been attended by over 1,000 delegates from 9 countries and its Global Sourcing journal is widely acclaimed for its quality of content. Amit is the author of the British Government’s first ever report on offshoring. He is frequently interviewed by the likes of CNN, and widely regarded as a thought leader and pioneer in the global sourcing arena. He has an MBA/MIM from Thunderbird (Arizona, USA), BSc (Bombay, India), and an SFA (London, UK).
