SharedXpertise Advisor Joseph Vales was recognized along with partner Gil Parker as 2007 Superstars by the editors of HRO Today. The annual list recognizes the most influential and respected corporate buyers, service providers, strategy consultants and thought leaders for their achievements and contributions to the global HR outsourcing industry.

This is the fifth consecutive year that Vales, founder and Senior Partner of Vales Consulting Group, has been named an HRO Superstar by the magazine editors. Vales, who HRO Today called the "universally acknowledged marketing guru of the BPO business," is widely known for his thought leadership contributions to the industry. Joe is a Founding Trustee of the HR Outsourcing Association and was described by TechSpend magazine in 2006 as the "Father of BPO and Deal Advisor." For PricewaterhouseCoopers, Vales conceived and directed the landmark Global Top Decision-Makers Research which shaped the BPO market for years. At the 2005 HRO World conference, Vales received the industry's most prestigious award when he was selected as the Thought Leader of the Year.

Vales established Vales Consulting Group in 2001 as a strategic advisory firm providing marketing and business development services to the senior management of the leading service providers, private equity firms, and other professional organizations in the ITO, software, and BPO marketplace. The Group combines in-depth knowledge of market conditions and business opportunities, world-class sales proposal process expertise from lead generation to close, and the ability to work effectively with senior management to help its clients build and sustain market leadership. No other firm can match Vales Consulting Group's expertise in developing robust value propositions for their clients and understanding what it takes to win business. FAO Today magazine in its upcoming February 2007 issue described the Vales Consulting Group as the "most widely used business development consultants in the IT Services industry."

Parker, a Partner at Vales Consulting Group, leads the firm's sales proposal process consulting practice. This is the fourth consecutive year that Parker has been recognized as an HRO Superstar by HRO Today, which also featured Parker in an earlier article that hailed him as the "all-time heavyweight champion of HRO proposal writing." Parker has directed, managed, and authored more than 265 new business proposals presented to the boards and senior executive management teams of Global 1000 companies, for which he earned a 72 percent win rate.

Parker is credited with developing a proposal document evaluation scorecard for analyzing 150 key elements and attributes of written proposals against industry best practices. He has also developed a proven methodology for preparing powerful executive summaries that present compelling value propositions, best-value business technical solutions, and many other distinguishing factors that give service providers a clear advantage and leadership positioning in competitive proposal situations.
